Street & Documentary Photography

Everyday life, unplanned and unscripted.

I’m drawn to the moments that happen naturally around us, on busy streets, in markets, on trains and in the quieter corners of everyday life. Often it’s a gesture, an expression, a brief interaction or simply the way someone occupies a space that makes me stop and photograph.

Street and documentary photography is about observing rather than directing. I like to spend time in a place, watching how people move through it and waiting for the different elements of a photograph to come together.

Some images are made in an instant; others come from returning to the same location or waiting for the right person to enter the frame. I’m not looking for perfection. I’m looking for photographs that feel genuine and say something about the people, places and everyday life I encounter.
